It's always funny when we receive emails like this, and we do receive a lot them. But I don't blame the administrator who sent this email. Don't know if you don't ask. I just wonder why the kid who receieved the Sabotage didn't click on the link in the email that would have revealed this is all just one big joke.
Slippy,
I wanted to give you a heads up about your “College Rejection Letter” parody (http://www.liquidgeneration.com/content/a55hat.aspx?cid=1405). We had a student contact us after receiving this email (and obviously before he clicked on the link) demanding to know why we rejected him. The matter has already found its way to our Associate Provost for enrollment, and well to be frank they are not amused with the level of realism your email contains. I would suggest that you tone the language down, and try not to impersonate an official representative of [Editor's Note: a Texas School I will not name] University. I realize this takes away from the overall impact of the parody, but it would absolve you of any and all legal liability (impersonation, forgery, etc.) with [the school] and other Universities referenced in your emails.
Thanks!
FYI, the way this sabotage works is that you type in your college name and the application automatically makes a logo with the school name. It's programming magic! So, we're really not picking on any particular school.
